Today's increasingly competitive global economy demands trained professionals in the fields of business, engineering and technology, allied health and nursing, and human services. For over 65 years, South Suburban College has been providing state-of-the-art career education programs to prepare District 510 residents to excel in the local and national job markets.

Each year, South Suburban College enrolls thousands of students in our highly acclaimed education programs. We offer over 30 different programs that can lead to exciting, well-paying careers in just over two years or less.

Our comprehensive career education programs award short-term certificates, certificates and the Associate of Applied Science degree. These programs have been designed to allow you to structure the completion of your educational goals around your family or work. Courses are available in day, evening and weekend sessions at both our main campus in South Holland and our University & College Center in Oak Forest.

Many courses will transfer to four-year colleges and universities. Our Transfer Center is available to assist you in proper course selection based on your long-term objectives. Special assistance to qualified students is also available through our Academic Assistance Center and Special Needs Coordinator.
