students who plan to register need to have completed the application process.
If you are not as yet on file, applications
may be downloaded and faxed to 708-225-5806. If you have any questions
concerning your admissions status, please contact the Admissions area
at 708-596-2000, extensions 2329 or 2490.
Effective for Spring, 2008 we will no longer be able to use Touchtone for registration or for payment. You can register through the Internet by using Online Student Services.
Fall 2008
If you would like to register at our main campus at 15800 S. State St., South
Holland, or at the University & College Center, 16333 S. Kilbourn, Oak Forest,
South Suburban College will be offering in-person, general registration
for people who have completed the application process beginning March 31
for all courses. In-person Registration will be accepted from 8:00 a.m. to
7:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00
p.m. After our first purge, July 17, students who have not made payment
arrangements by 7:00 p.m. will lose their Pre-registered classes. July 31
is our final Fall purge. Students who registered after July 17, 2008, and have
not made payment arrangements by 7:00 p.m. July 31, 2008 will lose their
Pre-registered classes. Payment can be made by using cash, check, Visa,
Discover, MasterCard, or FACTS deferred payment plan. Beginning Monday
August 13, through Friday August 24. Registration services are open Monday
through Thursday, 8:00 a.m.- 8:00 p.m., Fridays 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. In
addition, Registration Services will be open on Saturday, August 16, from 9:00
a.m. through 1:00 p.m.
Online Early Registration begin April 9th.
In-Person Early Registration begins March 31st.
Early Registration Payment is due by July 17th.
"Last-Chance" Registration is August 16 & 17th.
Payment is due at time of registration.
Late Registration is August 18 & 19th.
Late fees of $10 per course are charged.
