- To
continue funding existing scholarship programs and to initiate
new scholarships.
- To
fund research and development projects that explore the feasibility
of curriculum development in new and emerging technologies or
to apply state-of-the-art technology to existing curricula. To
supplement the services and programs of the College's Business
Conference Center, to assist in the promotion of the Business
Conference Center and provide opportunities for the recognition
of local businesses. To
support and supplement cultural activities within the College
and invite community participation in these events.
- To
strengthen the College's job placement program through the active
involvement of the business community.
At
Work for South Suburban College
The
South Suburban College Foundation has now awarded over $550,000 in academic
scholarships since 1989. Scholarship moneys are provided through an
annual fundraising event, donor campaigns and the generous contributions
of Foundation directors.
