"Credit Hours," the first number in parenthesis to the utmost right on the course title line, refers to the number of hours of credit per semester. "Contact Hours," the second number, after the comma in the parenthesis, refers to the actual number of hours per week spent in classrooms, laboratories, field work, internships, etc. After the description is a notation on offerings: F=fall term; Sp=spring term, S=summer term; "odd" refers to classes offered only in odd numbered years; "even" refers to classes offered in even numbered years; "on demand" indicates that courses will be scheduled upon sufficient student request. Where special course fees are required in addition to tuition, they are noted at the end of the individual course description. These fees are subject to change without prior notice.
