The 3 Stages of SSC

Comedy, Drama, Musical, Children's Faire; Contemporary, Modern, & Classic

The Theatre Department's SSC Playhouse, The Children's Theatre Company, and The PAC Rats Theatre Company—three groups working under one roof—produce a variety of shows year-round. They work together to bring you joyful and passionate entertainment.

The SSC Playhouse is run under the auspices of the theatre department of South Suburban College. Plays of all types are usually produced in the fall and spring, and auditions are always open to the community. Students who participate in SSC Playhouse productions may receive college credit for their participation.

The Children's Theatre Company is an SSC-supported company of players produces sell-out children's shows every winter to youngsters from schools in the greater Chicagoland area.

The PAC Rats Theatre Company is a volunteer-run, community-based group of thespians that works in-house at South Suburban College.
