SQF Code changes and Global Food Safety Initiative topics coming soon!
OAK FOREST, IL The Business & Career Institute of South Suburban College will offer periodic Hot Topics on the Go for a variety of industry sectors to provide information about issues and solve problems associated with business growth. Experts will present information quickly and clearly followed by question and answer sessions.
Hot Topics on the Go sessions are free of charge and are located at the University & College Center in Oak Forest. The upcoming topics include SQF 7th Edition Code Changes and How They Affect You in August and The Global Food Safety Initiative: Safe Quality Food (SQF) in October. They are currently scheduled as follows:

Join presenter Chuck Jenrich for a 90-minute session about the changes to the SQF Code that became effective July 1, 2012. Is your organization ready? In a quick format, you will receive help navigating these updates to the SQF Code and come away with a better understanding how they will affect you. Discussions will focus on the combining of SQF1000 and SQF 2000 into one Code and the changing of Elements 4,5,6 and 7 into Module 2 and Modules 3-15. Topics include:
