SSC to host Chicago Southland Speaker's Bureau "Women's Empowerment Event"

SOUTH HOLLAND, IL – South Suburban College will host a "Women's Empowerment Event" sponsored by Chicago Southland Speakers Bureau on Thursday, September 20, 2012. Registration and breakfast begins at 8:00 a.m., with welcome and introductions starting at 8:30 a.m. and seminars to follow. The event will take place at the college's University & College Center in Oak Forest. Two tracks of three workshops will be offered.

The Business Track includes:
Self-Promotion of Today's Woman, with Mary Erlain, Vice President, LMI-Riverside, and President of Peak Marketing Sales
Coke, Pepsi, McDonalds and You, presented by Rebecca Palumbo, Creative Director of Rollins Palumbo Creative
The ART of No More Paper, with Emily Smith, Certified Professional Organizer, Simplify with Smith

The Personal Track Workshops are:
The Powerful Life: How to Create Unstoppable Success Now, facilitated by Gia Claire, Author, Speaker, and Personal Transition Specialist
Time Management for Real Women, with M. Colleen Klimczak, Certified Professional Organizer, Peace of Mind Professional Organizing
Women, Money and Power: Take Control of Your Financial Situation, presented by Kelly Stanley, Certified Financial Planner, MBA, Beverly Financial Group

Registration is open at www.WomensEE.EventBrite.com for the cost of $15 which includes breakfast, and all seminars. Early registration is encouraged; seating is limited. Tables are available for $50 for vendors that have products designed for women. Sponsorships are also available at $100 for a table, which includes sponsor logos on all promotional materials and raffle a prize.
