Continuing Education

The Office of Continuing Education of South Suburban College offers a wide variety of classes and opportunities for everyone from tots to senior citizens through out the academic year. The classes include a variety of topics from professional to personal development. For many, the Professional Development Seminars are great for a quick and convenient way to refresh knowledge or to learn how to deal with new issues in the workplace. For others, our Personal Development classes offer opportunities for fun, new hobbies, or home improvement techniques just to name a few.

South Suburban College’s Continuing Education department is offering courses to help fill after-school and weekend time with activities that will entertain and challenge both children and young adults. College for Kids provides a fun learning environment for kids of all ages. Many of the classes offered have evening class times that will allow individuals to plan around a busy work or school schedule.

Our convenient class times and locations allow students to work their class schedule around work and family time. The Continuing Education Department creates three schedules a year, summer, fall, and spring. Please take a moment and view the Continuing Education schedule.
