SSC Championship Basketball Camp
Presented by the SSC Basketball Program

Monday, August 11 - Wednesday, August 13, 2008
9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

in the Physical Fitness and Athletic Center
located on the south end of the Main Campus.

Boys and girls ages 7 to 17.

Food and refreshments will be on sale, or campers may bring a lunch.
Each camper will need shorts, basketball shoes, and a T-shirt or practice uniform.

The cost of the camp is $70 per camper.

PREJUDGING is at 10:00 a.m. with tickets available for
$10 for the general public and $8 for SSC students with an I.D.

The NIGHT SHOW will start at 6:00 p.m. with tickets for
$15 and $12 for SSC students (children under the age of 10 are free).

The college is inviting both participants and spectators to join the fun at this special event. The competition is broken up by weight groups in the divisions of Women Open and Men Open, Women Masters and Men Masters, Women Figure, and Teens. The entry fee is $40 for all contestants, with a $20 charge for each additional category entered. Students entry fee $30, each additional category $15. Awards will take place at the night show for 1st through 5th Place in each division. There will be entertainment, guest posers, refreshments and free giveaways.

"Meanwhile Back at the Couch," Jack Sharkey's zany comedy revolves around struggling psychiatrist Victor Karleen, who takes on a new patient to help with his growing financial problems. The play will be directed by Tianna Ruelas.

Tickets are $6.00 for adults, $4.00 for seniors and students.
SSC Students and Staff will receive two complimentary tickets
with advance reservation.

Roles are available for 3 men and 7 women. Director Ellie Shunko is
looking for energetic and committed people to round out the ensemble
for Michele L. Vacca’s classic fairy tale. No prior experience is necessary, but you must be willing and able to take off work or classes to be eligible.
