Saturday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

 

All officers of the South Suburban College Campus Police Department are vested by the State of Illinois with full police authority. South Suburban College Campus Police Officers are fully sworn officers and are vested with full law enforcement powers and responsibilities under Illinois law.

Students should report all criminal incidents or emergencies to the Campus Police Office (Room 1215) or call 708-596-2000, ext. 2235. The Campus Police will investigate all complaints and will utilize the assistance of other local and State police agencies when needed.

Specific information about parking regulations, traffic citations, and personal safety is available in the Campus Police Office. Students may request personal assistance by contacting the Campus Police

SSC utilizes a passive video system to monitor activity inside the building and outside in the parking lots. These cameras provide an added sense of security while on campus.

No vehicles are to be left on campus after the above specified times without first obtaining permission from the SSC Police Department.

Emergency First Aid

In the event of an accident or injury, minor first-aid is available at the Campus Police Department, Room 1215. However, it is expected students have a private insurance policy in order to provide them with comprehensive medical and surgical benefits.

Lost and Found

Lost and found is located here at the Campus Police Office, Room 1215. Articles not claimed within 30 days will be disposed of.

<< The department also operates a four-wheel All Terrain Vehicle (ATV) on campus. The bicycle and ATV allow patrol to areas not accessible to the squads.
