NURSING
The Nursing Department at South Suburban College is seeking part-time
adjunct faculty in Nursing for both didactic and clinical positions. Our needs for theory are in the areas of Beginning Medical-Surgical Nursing, Health Assessment, Professional Development and Pharmacology. The Nursing departments clinical needs are in Fundamentals, Medical-Surgical, and OB/PEDS. Responsibilities for the theory classes include preparing lectures, exams, handouts, and other classroom experiences for our Nursing students. Responsibilities in clinical include providing clinical educational experience that is reflective of didactic classroom learning
Minimum Requirements: Master Degree in Nursing, a minimum of two years experience in education and/or clinical education, and a license in Illinois. An Indiana license would be a plus.

Minimum Requirement: At time of hiring, a licensed attorney, previous experience working with paralegals, Westlaw proficiency required.
Preferred Requirement: 1 year college teaching experience
