South Suburban College maintains the men’s sports of baseball, basketball, and soccer. The women’s sports programs consist of basketball, softball, volleyball, and soccer.
The college is a member of the National Junior College Athletic Association. We adhere to all eligibility and sports procedures mandated by the NJCAA. Each team participates in the NJCAA Region IV tournaments. A championship of the Region IV tournament will qualify a team for the National Championship events.
South Suburban College is very proud of their athletic program. We have an excellent coaching staff that motivates the student athletes to not only win their athletic events but to succeed in the classroom. Several of our athletes transfer to four year Colleges and receive athletic scholarships.
